Unless I’m misunderstanding, what Trump is saying would be made ‘permanent’ after the election is the deferment of some people’s payroll taxes from Aug 1 to Dec, not a permanent abandonment of payroll taxes in general. Is that not accurate?
Apparently he also promised to do away with the tax entirely if re-elected.
