PHOENIX - By way of an executive order, President Donald Trump announced Aug. 8 that $400 a week will act as an extension to the previous $600 a week in federal unemployment benefits that ended at the beginning of August as the COVID-19 pandemic continues.

“We are very thankful to President Trump for extending these critical benefits. We will be working diligently to apply these changes in Arizona, and will have more information early in the week," said a spokesperson for Ducey on Saturday.

Currently, the weekly unemployment benefit in Arizona is just over $200, one of the lowest weekly payouts in America.

They should take it out of the pockets of all the politicians and bureaucrats and media that perpetrated this debacle, not destroy the economy for the next several generations.

I wouldn’t be to worried. In the most recent DACA case, Justice Roberts made it extremely difficult to undo an EO, even if the action was illegal.

Everyone must do their part to slow the spread of COVID-19 by wearing a mask, practicing social distancing, and washing your hands frequently and thoroughly."

Texas is on it as well ...

$300 from the feds and the state has to chip in $100 more.
Mostly, the states haven’t even spent the money in the last bill.
Still deciding what in-laws and donors to send it to.
