My 94 yr old father is in a Memory Care facility in Southern Illinois.

It is a small facility (26 nice single rooms) and is absolutely excellent. It’s managed and staffed by 100% women and 1 female nurese on duty.

Food is all home made and excellent.

One in a million!

Those facilities are out there. Most folks can not afford them. What pissed me off we’re the kids who “structure” their parents assets to make them eligible for Medicare/Medicaid funding. So they take their parents money, and mom and dad are in welfare nursing facilities.

While perfectly legal, it’s the most selfish act in the world. It’s simply pure greed: your parents gave you life. They don’t owe you an inheritance as well.
