"Real Time" host Bill Maher had an awkward exchange with CNN commentator Paul Begala on Friday night, confronting him about his former boss Bill Clinton and the former president's ties to deceased sexual predator Jeffrey Epstein.
"Now, Bill Clinton. People are saying that there are witnesses who saw him on Jeffrey Epstein's sex island," Maher began. "Obviously, it's denied."
Begala, who served as a White House adviser during Clinton's administration, shook his head in disapproval -- but Maher doubled down.

He denied having sex with Monica Lewinsky also, and Gennifer Flowers before that. Denials aren’t the best track record for reliability, Paul.

I doubt there’s much of anything Bill Maher and I would ever agree on politically, but I give him credit for calling out the left’s BS on things like this, “woke” culture, cancel culture, anti-guns BS, and so on. He’s had guests on this show like Colion Noir, Steve Bannon, and Ben Shapiro, and he’s actually treated them decently and allowed them to speak their minds.
He’s not half as funny as he thinks he is and he trashes the President constantly, but he does at least give others a chance to speak and he does recognize (some of) the left’s hypocrisy. And it’s nice hearing him calling liberals snowflakes in need of a safe space.
Bill’s is in trouble, they skipped right passed James Carville and brought in the fixer Paul Begal.
The problem with this is that if it is proven beyond a shadow of a doubt that Clinton visited Epstein’s island would anyone be surprised?

Do you really think that the Clintons have that kind of power? I doubt it. The people to worry about are those far richer, far more powerful, and with much more to lose that Clinton has.

I may be misremembering, but I seem to recall a picture, here on FR, of Clinton and some other men, taken at the island. I can see it in my head. This was back when we were still obsessed with all things clinton.

I agree. Maher had Bari Weiss on a few days ago... the 'elites' don't like that kinda stuff...
Bill Maher is also said to be an illegitimate son of High Hefner. I can see a resemblance.
