I wasn’t a huge fan of W, but he was insanely better than gore or kerry.

How so? Other than Alito I can’t think of a single redeming quality of the Bush’s 8 years.

History will mark the Bush years as one of the most significant in American history. He could have attempted to roll back the Progressivism of Clinton years and reoriented America on Constitutional path that honors our 200 years of American Heritage. Instead, he colluded with Democrats to forever change this country. THAT is what Bush will be remembered for. I hope he lives to see his home state of Texas dominated by progressive Democrats the way California is now. That’s his baby and he owns it all.

I don't hope that at all, ever.
But I'm guessing if it happened, (when it happens?) W would not be unhappy.

The comparison was to Gore and/or Kerry.

It’s one thing to validly point out what a RINO Bush was as POTUS, but to even imply (whether accidentally or not) that voting for his opposition is in any way viable is simply not itself valid.

He wasnt that much different than they would have been

And on Iraq, Gore might not have invaded, sparing us what Trump calls one of the most disastrous foreign policy blunders in US history
