We are a nation of immigrants and their descendants. Even the native tribes are descended from hunter gatherers who migrated from Siberia during the last ice age. But just like Gore he is a dunce who knows nothing about what the motto on the Great Seal means.
“Out of Many, One” is a reference to the 13 colonies forming a single country.
It had absolutely nothing to do with immigration.
The original 1776 design for the Great Seal featured shields of each of the 13 colonies with the motto E Pluribus Unum scrolled below.
