Decimate means reduce by 10 %. Decimate millions would be a death rate of 10%. In the whole world there are 20 million cases according to Newsbreak which is Bloomberg, but the deaths worldwide are under 800,000. You would have to have 2 million dead worldwide to be able to correctly use the word Decimate. It fails the scare test.
