Testing positive is not news. Showing symptoms is sorta news. Showing severe symptoms is news. And dying is news.

He has no symptoms so he isn’t a “case”. You don’t need to wish him a speedy recovery. He’s not sick. He probably won’t get sick. Most people who test positive without symptoms never get sick.
And since he followed all the rules, how was it that he came up positive?
The safety protocols don’t work. That’s why. You are going to get exposed. In my opinion, the sooner everyone gets exposed the quicker we can return to a normal society.

The Governor might be pre-symptomatc; sort of a mid point during the incubation period. Whether a- or pre-, he’s unlikely to have spread the disease. Nevertheless, he should self-quarantine until he comes up negative.
White color Joes - and to the disease we’re all Joes - can work from home. Blue color Joes should qualify for unemployment benefits or some other support. We can’t pass out money indiscriminately, but we can take care of those that need to be taken care of.
