Don't take the Givernments word for it but, behold the special interests who are up in arms over the wall, describe where and how long it will be in the areas they are litigating and their photo and arial evidence which shows where new wall has gone up and new trenching, where no wall or ballards, for completely brand new wall

Behold

To wit Indigenous peoples seem pretty hacked off about new wall going up https://indiancountrytoday.com/news/trump-s-border-wall-construction-threatens-sacred-lands-of-carrizo-camecrudo-0pfuFhxKRkuFJ3kzJgevVA

Heavy equipment intended for the construction of a 25-mile section of the wall through South Texas arrived on Sunday and was being offloaded Monday along a levee bordering the Rio Grande River. In response, the tribe and its allies staged a march Monday from a location near the town of Mission to the National Butterfly Center, a 100-acre wildlife refuge that’s also being threatened by the immanent construction of the wall.

If you go to this page, kinda looks like there is a new wall going up and "The Intercept" is sure not on our side(Photos)

TRUMP IS BLOWING UP A NATIONAL MONUMENT IN ARIZONA TO MAKE WAY FOR THE BORDER WALL

https://theintercept.com/2020/02/06/border-wall-construction-organ-pipe/?comments=1

CONTRACTORS WORKING FOR the Trump administration are blowing apart a mountain on protected lands in southern Arizona to make way for the president’s border wall.

The blasting is happening on the Organ Pipe Cactus National Monument Don't forget to scroll through the article and look at: Magnified view of Monument Hill, in Organ Pipe National Monument, where border wall construction crews began using explosives this week WITH THE REALITIES of border wall expansion in southern Arizona coming into grim focus over the past few months, advocates on the ground have worried that construction on Organ Pipe might involve explosives.(But no new construction happening) The entire episode is deeply political, Grijalva said, with the Trump administration clearly bent on completing as many new miles of wall construction as possible ahead of the 2020 election. “What’s particularly frightening right now is that Trump has weaponized DHS, politically weaponized them,” Grijalva explained. “And so right now, it’s about satisfying that political agenda.”

From National Geographic:

Border wall construction expands, despite pandemic, imperiling jaguars and other animals

With the world focused on coronavirus, the federal government paves way for 175 miles of new walls along U.S.-Mexico border, through prime wildlife corridors. They are opposed to 175 of New walls?(Need an account to read but, whatever. The headline speaks volumes)

I guess their chief complaint is that a vehicle barrier is being replaced or augmented with a 30 foot bollard wall. That is new fencing to me, as it reduces the ability to cross the border

This guy really hates the wall:

New Drone Footage Shows Damage From Trump’s Wall in Remote Arizona Wildlands Construction Rips Through Wildlife Refuge Along Historic Devil’s Highway author: Laiken Jordahl

The wall is being built through the Cabeza Prieta National Wildlife Refuge, home to the endangered Sonoran pronghorn, and the rugged Tinajas Altas Mountains in the Barry M. Goldwater Bombing Range east of Yuma, Arizona. The 30-foot-tall, bollard-style barriers will block wildlife migration, damage ecosystems, and destroy natural history and Native American sacred sites.

“Trump is bulldozing the borderlands’ most beautiful, rugged landscapes for nothing but a twisted campaign promise,” said Laiken Jordahl, a borderlands campaigner at the Center. “Walling off these protected wildlands will kill wildlife, obliterate sacred sites and rip a hideous scar through the heart of the world’s most biodiverse desert.

We’ll continue to fight Trump’s despicable border wall every step of the way, and we won’t stop until it’s torn down.”

Looks very much like Green Construction if you scroll through Jordan's page https://biologicaldiversity.org/w/news/press-releases/new-drone-footage-shows-damage-from-trumps-wall-in-remote-arizona-wildlands-2020-04-28/

He does a real nice job documenting on a drone the fence being built here: https://www.biologicaldiversity.org/resourcespace/pages/search.php?search=%21collection1202&k=92ef6f7763

Anyway, looks like mile after mile after hundreds of miles are being built

"looks like mile after mile after hundreds of miles are being built"

Here is the last weekly report from CBP, as of 3 August 2020, on the 738 miles currently funded in the Trump Wall Program:

There are probably something like three dozen crews out there working, across the Southern Border - double shifts are common. Across all of the crews, a total of about ten more miles worth is completed each week.
