Have NO knowledge about things criminal, but the fact that NOTHING about Durham’s investigation has leaked gives me hope he is quietly fashioning a strong steel net to haul before justice some very BIG (and stinky) fish!
The important thing to note here is this is an “interview” and not “testimony.” Nothing under oath. No grand jury. More beltway gum flapping and hot air. That is all.
Barr’s non action against the ongoing coup makes Sleepy Sessions look better by the day. At least he was recused. Barr has no such excuse.
Those are the key questions I expect to see answered or a good explanation for why not. That is my test of whether we are seeing the results of a true investigation or a cover-up.
I saw this movie before when Comey interviewed Hillary.
Some folks just don’t understand that getting to the final interrogation requires time and patience. No case is completed in a week/month. It takes time to get to the end point. Sometimes you run into dead ends, your theory about the case proves wrong, you have to go back to the beginning to re-assess the case, new evidence surfaces that changes the theory of the case/suspect.
Months and years are not unusual in a case.
Remember - this is the same guy who allowed the CIA to destroy tapes (i.e. - government records) of detainees and he closed the investigation without recommending any charges.
So - yeah - he and Brennan are probably just gonna have a chat over good times.
No person has a duty to be interviewed by law enforcement.
Brennan and his attorney must think agreeing to an interview is better than a subpoena for a grand jury proceeding. He can have an an attorney for an interview, but not in a grand jury hearing room.
Prosecutors always talk to the underlings to flip some of them before reeling in the big fish.

U.S. Attorney John Durham has uncovered "breathtaking" evidence about "corrupt" origins of the Russia investigation, according to President Trump.
He told Fox Business host Lou Dobbs on Tuesday that he believes that the federal prosecutor is conducting a criminal inquiry into the Russia investigation that will show members of the Obama administration maliciously targeted him and his campaign.
"We caught them spying. Now it’s up to our attorney general. As you know, I wanted them to do it. I didn’t want to get overly involved. Maybe I should, maybe I shouldn’t, but I do hear it’s breathtaking what they’ve found," Trump said. "That’s all I can say, breathtaking." "And hopefully, it’ll come out soon. But it’s beyond what anybody ever thought even possible, how bad it is. How bad it is and how corrupt it is. But I’m going to let them do that. I’m not going to do that. It’s a horrible thing that took place, and it should never be allowed to happen to another president," Trump said.
Attorney General William Barr has said he would not wait until after the election to reveal the investigation's findings. He recently said neither Trump nor former Vice President Joe Biden, the presumptive Democratic presidential nominee, a target of the investigation. Still, Democrats have voiced concerns about the possibility of an "October Surprise."
