HACKENSACK, N.J. -- Nearly one week after city police sought the publics help in identifying a woman who viciously shoved a 54-year-old woman inside a Staples who previously underwent liver transplant surgery and asked the assailant to wear her facial mask properly, police have made an arrest.
Today, City Detectives arrested Terri Thomas, a 25-year-old Hackensack resident, and charged her with aggravated assault, a second-degree crime. She is due in Central Judicial Municipal Court in Hackensack at the end of the month.
"Detectives Demetrius Carroll, Ioannis Papanikolaou, and James Han, in particular, all did a fantastic job," said Detective Captain Darrin DeWitt in a news release. "I also thank the Hackensack Staples store and the Staples corporate office for their cooperation, which was crucial in solving the case. I must add, Staples' employees immediately called 911 and tended to the victim within seconds of the assault. Unfortunately, the video clip that was released ends just prior to them helping her.

The violent chick looks pleased with herself.
Glad the woman is pressing charges. Clean her out till shes smirking no more.
No. My replies were demonstrably “in kind”.
Yeah, it’s for me unpleasant to engage in silly arguments but countering a silly argument by silly people, especially sad cliques require it at times.
The important part was urging the comparison of their views to that of an intelligent, reasoning person.
(Bote I did not take an ‘opposite’ view to anti-maskers on the iossue of masks, but a ‘reasoned’ one.)
The trade of insults was just an unfortunate consequence of engaging with people who want be foolish. Which I think on review I did manage to minimize.
Showing reasonableness to extremists doesn’t help them but it does impress those who are still subject to reason.
Of course it’s not of benefit to me, which is why I avoid it. But when someone insists on such, participation requires I do the same- or demur.
Don’t attack others, especially your elders...
It just makes sense that people offended by that would be abusive on a forum.
And wear a mask when appropriate is, again, not something one would expect abuse for.
“Mrs Mith” LOL! Could someone be more pathetic?
Well, manners are based on a historical evidence of the benefits of ‘some’ concern for other people (varies in cultures).
Without that- there is force of course.
I hope you would reconsider your response.
People who have a transplant are immunosuppressed. They are very susceptible to bacteria, viruses, and other things that are deadly to them. She would only go out to make a copy if it was important and she had no one else to run the errand for her.
