Lumber prices are up 50% because so many people are at home with nothing to do and money to burn so they buy lumber for projects. Add to that there are not enough people working to produce the timber products taht are being bought. Supply and demand gone out of control.
I had two large projects planned but both are on hold for now. Not hiring anyone now.
Might have bought more roofing supplies if the prices had dropped. Prices on tires still high.
