Not necessarily, the writer is trying to be very moderate and balanced in order appeal to the mushy middle by not being stridently anti-left, anti media, etc.
Just a nice polite explanation that the science is still out due to various study limitations but they still show a correlation to improved outcomes and maybe everyone should just let the clinicians do their jobs and stop second guessing them or directing how they do their jobs.
My personal agenda includes making HCQ, Remdesevir, anti-inflammatories, etc. as widely available for COVID patients as possible. But that doesn’t mean I’m going to ignore an article written by somebody other than Fauci or Birx that indicates skepticism.
