I actually argued with someone here on FR about the value of masks until the science became overwhelming and I had to admit they were right, useless, and worse. You have to have an N95 with a positive seal which will leave marks on your face in just a couple of hours. And, that mask will do nothing to protect others. As I said, they have vents to keep you from rebreathing the CO2. But those vents dump your breath out in a jet.
