Seven Major October Surprises Awaiting Democrats

In the past, the term “October Surprise” has almost always involved the Democrats turning up some last-minute dirt on a Republican. Perhaps the best-known of these was the revelation of a driving-while-under-the-influence charge (DWI) against Republican presidential candidate George W. Bush on Friday, November 3, 2000, a mere three days before the razor-thin 2000 election. Many political analysts think this cost Bush significant votes among evangelical Christians

But the “October Surprise” of the 2016 campaign was close: a video from an “Access Hollywood” interview with Billy Bush came out on October 7, 2016, in which Trump made comments about what it was like to be a star in which he said that women fell all over him and “You can do anything . . . Grab them by the pussy. You can do anything.” Of course, Trump never said he did this, only that such was the situation with stars. (As a former rock drummer, I can attest to the general direction of President Trump’s comments!)

A lot of this is really pretty weak tea.

Maxwell/Epstein is not going to impact Biden unless we can somehow play “Sniffin Joe” on pedo island. Or at least on the airplane. And this is doubtful. If Joe had been their his name would have come out already. Lots of big names are already out, Biden is the biggest one left.

Dunham/Barr is going to be 4 year old news in a month. No one is interested any longer unless we can have indictments on death-penalty offenses.

China might be big.

Riots are not an October Surprise — they happened in July. The weather is not conducive to rioting in October.

IMHO Trump has to start hitting Biden hard on the economy. This is a strong suit he has. And, Trump has to start generating enthusiasm again with open-air rallies.

LS is usually right on the money. I pray to the Most High he is right this time, and it’s a Trump landslide, so that the Demonrats can’t cheat. Of course, they could do something else (secede) but at least Trump stays President. It buys us a little more time.

Larry Schweikart did a great job writing the piece. I expect Biden will crap out soon after their convention, what little there is of it. He knows he is going to become hamburger with the debates. I think he will bow out rather than suffer the embarrassment. He is about as worthless as a soup sandwich. That is why Zer0 picked him as Veep. If they tried to get rid of him, they would have to think about putting in Biden, who was as worthless as a . . .

I think he left out a few 1) Defund the police is popular with less than 10% of the population 2) The Bernie bros will not let Biden soften his leftist stands and the democrat primary will be a disaster, and 3) Everyone of the 2.5 million new gun ownners are now Republicans. They just spent $400-1200 on their family’s defense and there’s no way some politician is going to take it away from them.
