Get ready folks. There will be a flood of newbies like 2a to “save” us from our old ways of thinking. We know the type, lots of jargon...made up “facts”...and a slice or two of shaming to try to get the people in line. Been there, done that 2a. Wont work here.

Back in the days of the Blu-ray/HD-DVD wars, on the various video boards there was a guy with the user name “Amir” who claimed to be, and probably was, a Microsoft engineer who worked on HD-DVD. He spent seemingly 18 hours a day on the boards spreading FUD about Blu-ray and touting the benefits of HD-DVD. He was certainly paid to shill for Microsoft. These energetic newbies strike me as 2020’s versions of Amir. Maybe they are and maybe they’re not...who knows.
Thanks for the reminder, we will have to deal with them. I remember some of the “format” wars. The intensity should give everyone a clue.
