Why is that courthouse still named after a Republican? Especially one who was drummed out of office for sexual harrassment?

Of course, instead of reporting that state and local law enforcement is finally stepping up to the plate and cooperating with Federal authorities, the fake news media will say that this kumbaya moment is brought to you by the Federal storm troopers leaving.

Yet the Portland Police responded to a nearby shooting where over 150 rounds were fired into multiple apartment buildings.

Article mentions Feds and State police deployments...but not a whisper of what the Portland Police Bureau cops were assigned to do. Another empty not quite true statement. Need to see how the PBB was deployed in this because this tepid August 1 news release...is pure tapioca.

During the evening of July 31, 2020 hundreds of people came together in a mass gathering along Southwest 3rd Avenue between Southwest Madison Street and Southwest Salmon Street. People gave speeches outside the Justice Center starting at about 9:00 p.m. Vehicular traffic was blocked by people standing in the traffic lane Southwest 3rd Avenue. At about 10:30 p.m. the speeches ended and the majority of the people congregated outside the Mark O. Hatfield U. S. Federal Courthouse."

Through the rest of the night and into "the next morning the crowd was subdued. Some lit fires, climbed the fence outside the federal courthouse, threw objects and chanted. For the most part they stood crowded together on Southwest 3rd Avenue, between Southwest Madison and Southwest Salmon, talking in small groups."

"On August 1, 2020 at about 1:30 a.m. people started a bonfire in the middle of Southwest 3rd Avenue in front of the federal courthouse. People brought plywood and other flammable material to keep it going. Over the next hour the number of people dwindled to a few dozen."

"There was no police interaction with the crowd."

You know what? These drug addled products of 12 years of "free" education want to live under Communism? Then put up a concrete wall around the city topped with broken glass and razor wire with guard towers spaced every hundred yards or so and rename the city New East Berlin.

I don't know who this Portland guy was but he was probably some racist, sexist, homophobic, Bible thumpin' killer of Native Americans who wore a MAGA cap and listened to Rush Limbaugh all day anyway.

And then get back to is in 30 years and let us know how that all worked out for them.
