it’s simply pointing out that black people’s lives are relatively undervalued in the US — and more likely to be ended by police [emphasis his]

“That statement has been proven untrue, time and again.”

Yes, it has. These racist blacks just want black lives to matter “more”, for example to the tune of “reparations”.

I’ve made the public statement that “I support reparations 100% to all living survivors of slavery in the U.S.”

Works, right?

LOL :-)

Well, to play devil’s advocate (a very difficult role for me to play!), they will probably answer that slavery somehow is the basis for the misery in their lives today.

I think that’s the falsehood we need to attack: historical slavery is not the reason for remaining in poverty.

Also, poverty in the USA is NOT THE SAME as poverty conditions in say, Bangladesh. Not everyone in the world has a electricity and running water in their house, never mind drinkable running water.

But it is hard to become filthy rich honestly, (which is what this movement seems to see as their rightful due - so they feel justified to act dishonestly instead), especially if one starts at the very bottom.

Nevertheless, in some places there do seem to be cases of isolated discrimination, and we need to oppose cases where a manager hires and favors solely people from their own ethnic background - let’s just pick any ethnic group at random and pretend it’s Vietnamese or Indians.

I have personally seen cases where people are discriminated against in the job market due to their being of older age. Any injustice lends a vestige of unfairness that is being exploited. I can totally understand the feelings of resentment, and despair.

But yeah, you’ve hit the nail on the head: These racist blacks just want black lives to matter “more”, for example to the tune of “reparations”.

What can we do about it? What can we do about the real feelings of injustice in some cases?
