These are times when we pray to God that we are dead wrong and it will all work out and go back to normal some day...but I don’t think so.
Thats a good question. The attacker wore a mask. But it was way below her nose. So how is asking someone to pull it up higher bullying? And a statement “you are endangering people” turned out to be true. As a recent liver transplant recipient she was worried about being infected.
OMG, I forgot those, too.
There was this one perfume that had a lemon shaped top on the bottle.
When you put it on it smelled wonderfully lemony...until it started to interact with your skin and you ended up smelling like horse sweat.
That one didn’t last long.
What was the one fancy perfume that “interacted with your unique chemistry”?
SNL made fum of it and it was their funniest fake commercial, ever.
Something like “On her, it smells like a summer breeze. On her, it smells like meadow wildflowers. On her, it smells like dead otters in a drainpipe”
I will never forget that last one, the punchline.
I’ve used “dead otters in a drainpipe” all these years, whenever the topic warrants it.
:D
I see moms with their little girls out all be-masked and sparkling.
The kids will think this is all good and normal, now.
Bling-infested masks are the new must have accessories.
It may be too late.
/I wonder if we can pre-order 18K diamond pave’ leg shackles, yet?
Thank you for saying such a kind thing.
I hope so...and I hope I don’t let him down, if the time comes.
It’s just messed up that all this fell upon the 100 pound family runt.
:-\
I’ve watched the pickup shoppers running around the stores filling orders.
No thanks.
I’m really fussy about package integrity.
I’m not the runt. It’s all on my shoulders and it’s hard, but there is nobody else.
:’-(
“Since her surgery was March”
The post I read said LAST spring; I took that to mean 2019. THIS spring would be March 2020. That’s how I interpreted it.
“It may be too late.”
Sad to say, you may be right.
I posted last spring. Then i read an article with quotes from the lady. She said in March 4 months ago.
Ah ...
Amazing how many threw in with Communist China at the drop of a hat.
lol OK
You are the best, Salamander, and your hubby is very lucky to have you on his side. And you are a badass even if you don’t think so.
I was very lucky that I never had to deal with the government, insurance or the health care system while caring for my Mom. I feared that I might at some point and don’t know if I could have handled it as well as you did. Mom and I got what we both wanted, me taking care of her in her (our) home until the end. And I got to return a small fraction of the love, care and compassion she gave me.
There is so much corruption and callousness and incompetence in society now it’s disgusting. And frightening. But there are still a lot of good people out there doing good things. The right thing. The press distorts the percentages IMO.
There has always seemed to be a disproportionate number of good caring people here in my small town/semi-rural county. But the strain of government burdens and societal breakdown everywhere is showing. The leftist garbage I read in the local papers makes me want to puke. It’s still not prominent but it’s gaining ground.
Spoken in complete ignorance. You definitely don't know me.
:)
It is when you’ve had a liver transplant in the last four months and are on anticoagulants and immunosuppresants. She looked almost skeletal her arms and legs were so skinny.
Okay, quit being a little bitch.
I believe you. When she was on the ground of course i would have offered her assistance unlike the Staples staff.
