They’re too stupid to realize that when Trump is gone, they’re next. No point in having a GOP Senator lie to you when you can get a perfectly good RAT to do it. At least you know going in what a RAT will do.
Some Republican candidates did that in 2018. What did it get them? Lost the House and lost some margin in the Senate. I suppose McC would like to repeat that result. Maybe Democrats will be nice to him when he is the minority leader in the Senate and maybe won’t.
