Old news and the charges have been dropped.
I disagree completely with them trying to weasel out of this in any way, shape or form.
Take this head on, stand firm, the governor has already said he would pardon them so they really have nothing to lose.
Don’t let them win this by the left’s own usual back-door methods, win it on the Constitutional right, straight up, period.
It is my understanding that the charges have not yet been dropped.
The AG has joined the case and is requesting that the court drop the charges, but as of yet, the court has not done so.
“Old news and the charges have been dropped.”
Really?......Do you have any documentation of that?
Isn’t it a bad idea to brandish “firearms” which won’t fire?
A freaking Break-O? These people have money. WTF?
I do not believe the charges have been dropped.
There was a false report the charges had been dropped, based on the call by the Missouri AG, about 10 days ago, calling for the charges to be dropped.
Its called poker.
;-)
The joke on those has been that the magazine should come loaded and unable to be removed.
By the time it has been emptied the pistol is worn out.
Strange weapon for a wealthy lawyer to have.
It was a prop for a legal case. Why spend more than you have to.
But, then why wouldn’t an air soft pistol have worked?
Oh yea, they cost about the same. LOL
“...win it on the constitutional right....”
And go broke from legal fees. There is no justice anymore. Just too dang expensive for most people unless you’ve got help.
The reason they had an inoperable pistol was that they had used it as a prop in a court case. To disable it, they has put the striker in backwards or some such. They must only have the one good gun, and the wife grabbed the prop.
Perhaps a good way to handle these situations is to use fake or inoperable weapons as a fist means to scare these SOBs, while having fully operable weapons just feet away and within quick retrieval, but out of view.
What does that mean, “appears to be identified”. It was in police custody, we knew exactly what it was. We also knew that the McClosky’s were involved in a court case involving that very gun, and had disabled the gun to take it to court, and it was still disabled.
I have read nothing to suggest that the rifle was disabled.
Same thing with Michael Flynn.
The bastards never drop the charges. If you’re a law-abiding, tax-paying citizen, their strategy is to force you into bankruptcy through attorney fees.
I doubt that would buy you much in court. Staging the real weapons nearby would indicate premeditation.
It was reported several places yesterday. You could google it if you need to see it for yourself.
