A colorful Black Lives Matter mural was defaced this week, with vandals attempting to obscure "Black" with red, white and blue paint.
The 140-foot mural is on the side of a building in downtown Spokane, Washington -- sponsored in part by Terrain, a local arts nonprofit. Terrain, along with digital advertising agencies 14Four and Seven2, hired 16 artists to decorate and paint each letter in Black Lives Matter, according to CNN affiliate KXLY.

This is a bit different, it was a private group that sponsored the mural, and paid for it, and we technically should be opposed to anybody defacing other people’s property.
That’s a mural. A mural is on a wall. Not on the ground.
Just peaceful protesters exercising their 1st Amendment rights.
I don’t support vandalism despite not liking the message. If you use government resources or government property to express a political view than the other side has a right to express their displeasure and either have a competing place to comment or remove, change the first one.
This is private property and should have been left alone.
If it were me I would have wrote the word “Marxists” in big red letters.
