See if you can find the actual chronicle of migration into South Africa, who did it, where they came from, and exactly when each stage happened.

What the explorers found was a virtually empty land, inhabited by scattered tribes of Khoisan. The Khoisan were being exterminated by the invading Bantus from Central Africa, and begged the Boers for help. The British later encouraged the mass immigration of the foreign Bantu in their war against the Boers.
