The development of herd immunity is not pretty or quick. However in the absense of a safe effective vaccine or a definitive cure, it is the only way humans can deal with a pandemic. The Spanish Flu pandemic took three years, immense suffering an estimated sixty million deaths worldwide before there was herd immunity. Sweden has shown that absent quarantines and lockdowns, it takes about five months to develop “herd immunity” from Covid 19. With quarantines and lockdowns, it takes longer and “second waves” will be inevitable. Despite all measures the vast majority of humans everywhere will eventually be exposed to this virus.

We have cures and treatments that are effective but banned because they are effective. HCL is now used routinely by several foreign countries effectively. Albuterol- the asthma drug has been shown to be a rapid fix at later stages (that is what cured my wife in 3 days after she got pneumonia with the CCPVirus) of the disease. These are mostly anecdotal though at least one full FDA style double blind study has shown HCL works well, but the anecdotes include Turkkiye which has reduced the Chinese Flu tremendously with HCL as the first line defense and Brazil is using it and several other countries are having success with it. In the good old USA some doctors have lost jobs with hospitals for suggesting its use because the Democrats need this thing to keep the people in fear for three more months at least.
It’s a virus. It’ll run its course.
Somehow this simple fact escapes the most educated, intelligent minds in medicine.
