Yeah, I don’t have much of that myself. Good reminder.

I have some but my supply of Irish Spring (it’s cheap) is down to half. Waiting for another cheap sale on shampoo.

I find those products go much further than expected. They are made to suds up excessively. A very small amount with some added water and vigorous scrubbing, either with hands for hair or on a cloth for the body, does the job.

A 1/2 gallon of hand soap refill will last nearly a year for 2 people used as body wash or shampoo. Fragrance is cheap, if you want to use it. A dab of conditioner on the hair afterward will restore shine & manageability.

Most of us overuse soaps and detergents and strip the skin and hair of needed moisture. With conditioner, it takes a lot of rinsing to get the excess out if you use too much.

Lotions and creams are also easy to make yourself.

Here’s one source for ingredients.

I’ve ordered from them and they are a good company. They have great sales throughout the year, too. Navigate through the site to see the possibilities.

Recipes at this site or just search. There are tons of recipes for everything on the web.
