They WANT martial law so they can yell “Tyrant”.
Instead, Trump just used the Federal Police and other agency LEO. IF the cities get a handle on things, fine: LEO will withdraw. But if they don’t: they stay.
Same with using DPA. Progs are salivating for some sort of Centralized Command & Control so they can transfix Trump in the spotlight.
He’s won’t give them the satisfaction.
They obviously have a checklist. They did the same for ventilators, for PPE,for hospitals they never used; for extra personnel who sat around without work; for testing and now they want GAO oversight of Operation Warp Speed, which will result in a vaccine by October. Progs don’t want a vaccine, so they seek oversight to stop it & then yell Trump didn’t do things fast enough or did it wrong or did it for nefarious reasons.
They have a checklist and an SOP: demand, then criticize the fulfillment of the demand and demand something else.
Everyone sees thru them.
I have previously posted about strangers commenting against the prog actions. Yesterday I met #6, an electrician (male/50s) and today my husband met #7, a guy delivering and setting up a shed. People know we are fighting commies. They resent the h3ll out of it, too.
For those interested, this in Central & SW WI. And in SW WI, suddenly, there are a crop of Trump signs in an area where the progs have been taking over for decades. And many have shown up from the minute our Governor issued an indoor mask mandate.

It could be a bit of each: they know they’re losing, but they’re too committed to back down and _as long as we are in the run-up to the election_, they remain unaccountable.
When they lose for real, they will have nothing left to lose and they will unleash absolute hell wherever they can remain unaccountable.
A major problem is the mayoral and Gubernatorial elections are offset from the General. They have 1-2 years left in most prog-run venues.
POTUS has promised them National Guard if they don’t resolve their situations. Obviously, they think they can spin that into ‘Dictator’.
Meanwhile, Americans can watch them sneer and imagine themselves in Barr’s or Trump’s position.
