I recall when Herman Cain ran for President in 2012. We attended the FL GOP (RPOF) showcase and debate for the candidates. When Fred Thompson couldn't find his way off the stage (RIP), we quickly turned our focus to Herman Cain. He was truly inspiring. Mr. Cain easily earned our support and our primary votes. He won the RPOF straw poll.
Today is a sad day as we mourn the loss of a good man and a stalwart force for conservatism. RIP Mr. Cain.

It doesn't really matter, as our conservative / Republican votes here in The People's Republik of Connecticut don't matter at all, of course.
Some FReepers said Cain had recently been diagnosed with Stage 4 pancreatic cancer. I don't know if this is true...
God bless you, and Rest in Peace, Mr. Cain.
