Calling me stubborn doesn’t make masks more effective. “Stubbornness” implies that masks work. If they did it would be overwhelmingly obvious. Which it isn’t.
Buddy I am in NJ where the virus was terrible. Once people started wearing masks the infection rates started to drop. People still had to go out for food and supplies but just about everyone wore a mask and gloves if possible. It is undeniable that masks helped here. You are just beginning to see COVID in Texas and I hope and pray that it goes better for you folks than it did for us. I agree with you that masks are intrusive and not 100% but they absolutely do work to a certain extent, I have seen that with my own eyes. I don’t want to bust your chops, I am just giving my opinion based on what I have experienced the last several months in one of the worst hit areas of the country.
