My head is spinning on this one. Had Obama asked that same question, we’d be angry beyond belief. But since Trump asked it, many here praise it as a clever move.

This is example number 1000 that the Donald needs to run his tweets past someone first.

“Had Obama asked that same question, we’d be angry beyond belief.”

Well, yes. But it is a matter of trust. Based on his previous three and one half years, we can trust Trump to do what he says. Never Obama.

It is like Lincoln’s comment on the Constitution. He said he had it carefully tucked away to bring back once the war was over.

You’ve been trolled. The target was leftists but you apparently got hit as well.

Maybe you need to lean a little farther right.

Back up, Sparky. In neither of Obama's elections did democrats change the voting protocol from in person voting to mail-in voting --- with reports of fraud and abuse throughout the primary season we know where this is headed.

For years Republicans have been demanding "someone" do something about the rampant voter fraud headed by democrats .... well, now someone is.

You are correct.

The difference was, Obama turned otherwise crazy ass thoughts into policy, and was in the midst of (largely trying) to destroy the country.

Trump waves his left hand, and does something else with the right ... and as far as I can tell isn’t trying to destroy the country.

Only according to those who cannot understand POTUS is a master troll who never wastes a moment to antagonize America’s enemies, foreign & domestic!

Had Obama asked that same question,
*************
Is it even conceivable that Obama would ever object to massive voter fraud (vote harvesting and mass mailing of ballots to people that might be dead, moved, or illegal).

The whole point of Trump's statement is to point out that the MSM refuses to cover what would happen if the above were permitted.

How else is he to communicate with the public, with the MSM controlled by the Socialist/Left?

Instead the MSM demands along with the Dems that illegal voting be allowed and criminality be ignored, Just like their demand to defund the police and let criminals out of prison.

It's all aimed a creating the same chaos that existed in the Weimar Republic, leading to Hitler's rise to power.

Soros put his money where his mouth was in the last election cycle, and massively funded Attorney Generals and other Socialist/Dem candidates into positions in government so the chaos could be created and sustained.

They're all “useful idiots”, and just like the foot soldiers that brought Hitler to power, will be removed and destroyed, once the Socialist gain power.

You is funny.
This is a perfect tweet, that sets off the perfect firestorm.
If you trust this president to be working for America, to MAGA, you don’t need to try and micro manage. You will fail because you don’t have all the facts, don’t know the strategy and don’t have his deal making finesse. There is NO ONE that I would trust with the power to manage his tweets, that oft suggested “adult” wasn’t elected & would be a Mitt Romney type.
DJT uses chaos & misdirection to move the ball down the court. Sorry if it offends or worries people but it’s the only game in town.
The frontal approach of total orthodoxy & telegraphing all moves was shown to be a failure in the Am Revolution where the Brits employed it.
If you are a logical linear thinker it goes against the grain, gets up your nose but it opens up the board and breaks up the logjams by turning the enemies positions upside down. DJT moves the ball while they are regrouping.

You 150% correct on all you said. I remember telling my brother after the 2016 election, “Now Mr. Trump needs to retire his cell phone and twitter account.”

Don’t get me wrong. I will vote, enthusiastically for him, but, to my way of thinking, the constant tweeting has not and is not helping his campaign.

Your response is why I’m starting to hate politics. Jersey wearing is for sports. Our policies determining our freedoms and our very lives are TOO IMPORTANT to paint our faces for a supposed “team.”

The hypocrisy of loving it if YOUR GUY says it and hating it if the OTHER GUY says it is sending me away.

Thankfully, the president doesn’t have the authority to delay elections; Congress sets that schedule.

However, I think the timing of this tweet is the key to understanding its real purpose. Absent this tweet, what’s the big headline splashed across screens everywhere today? GDP numbers. That’s a headline that President Trump does not want getting 24/7 coverage. He needed a new headline - one big enough to make room in the news cycle - to take some focus off those economic numbers.

That’s just my two cents, but the biggest thing for me is he can’t delay anything, so there’s no real harm at this point. Now, if he actually signed executive orders or did something to interfere with elections? Huge no-no for me. But he’s not done so at this point, so I’m assuming this was headline management.

ABSOLUTELY NOT!

Let Trump be TRUMP!

Trump is a GENIUS!

Trump is a POLITICAL genius!

Don’t try and tell the GENIUS what he should do, YOU are not qualified.
