I’ll be driving over to Martin Co. tomorrow. Let’s hope current track holds east of the coast.

Bad.The next two weeks will tell the story. The basin behind the dam is at 88% it should be full over the next two weeks no matter how fast they let the water out.And its screaming out right now and has for some time. Also the flow and dynamics of the dam being so full has somehow caused smaller earth quakes,I don't know how all that works but there has been several of them, one big one is all it would take anywhere near the dam and its all over.
At stake is 400 million citizens down stream in already flooded cities like wuhan city with 12 million people or shanghai,I don't know what is going on there.
Also at stake is highly valued farmland,90% of our big pharma firms who have had china making our drugs for some time now.
if it gets really bad some estimates were as many as 100 million could die from the flooding currently 28,000 home have been flooded and all the chicoms could come up with for the victims was $1.50 a head.
My guess is the CCP will ask for worldwide help and with the photos from he drivebys they will get it and precious little will go to those who need it. but lots of guns, ammo and tanks will be built for sure. It's who they are.
I don't know if illegal drug shipments like Fentanal will be interrupted or not.

Not good news about the pharm drug manufacturing.
Who in their right mind thinks that building on a flood plain is a good idea?

We’ve run this sort of discussion thread for near twenty years. We’ve got the social implications worked out.

Even if this thing tracks to the west along with getting the dirty side, you will be alright due to speed, angle, and intensity for the most part (Gone through many ‘canes in my lifetime).
Shutter up though for piece of mind and preparing for the worst, better to be safe than people thinking what you are preparing for is overkill.
To: rodguy911
Weaker storms have a tendency to be slaves to the “stream”/pressure patterns. Stronger ones will succumb as well but throw a wrench or two with their internal strength. Both slow down when a radical change of direction occurs (Due to pressure patterns).

Our track on Isaias parallels David (1979) by 75-100 miles to the right, but by staying over the water rather than coming into Fla, This will be stronger to the north,so we have it going to a cat 2

Sent the crew down to the beach house to bring in the stuff that could get blown away or tear screens.
Other than that, time to settle down and follow your thread.
