Only one way to find out...
They should have bought a Colombian kilo, for all the worth the Russians ones are.
Is it called a land based sub?
Gotta ask the navy men round here.
It is such a joke!
No Romeos? tangos? charlies?
They could have some victor IIIs
Then they’re definitely fooked if they have to pull a Crazy Ivan move during head banging the deck.
;>)
I’ve have been out on the big lake-Lake Superior, and out of sight of land. Fishing for lakers-lake trout.
But, I guess it does not matter hey? The only problem with that Lake is, if you go down, you only have 15 to 20 minutes to survive.
Ya dont want to get caught in a T storm out there. Believe me.
[The Kilo class is a competent piece of work. While they are fairly range limited , and easy enough to detect , their torp load, Shark Gill and Mouse Roar sonar suit with upgrades and mine laying capabilities are considerable for a D/E boat. Problem is that they are hard to hide , dont dive very deep , are instantly detectable in some modes and VERY slow submerged. They can only run a high speed for a very short distance before having to surface or snorkel for a battery charge which involves running the super loud diesels. No match for our subs but something you definitely want to keep tabs on.]
No one pings

Maybe it leaks?
Could only afford Screen Doors ?
Maybe it is one they ordered from the back of a comic book.
>This is all part of their cunning plan. Who would expect a submarine attack from land? Hence, the element of surprise...
Sounds like the Shiite version of the Spanish Inquisition
No it's not! It's just that it's more crash than dive.
No one expects the Spanish Inquisition!
It is probably louder than a VIRGINIA Clas submarine while sunk and all systems disabled.
No one. Uses active
Well, That’s One Way To Tow a 2,300-Ton Submarine
Originally built by the Soviet Union, this Kilo-class submarine is returning to base by land (for some reason)
