Heck, TI back then had one of the first touchpad PDAs. Don’t remember the model or anything, but it was incredibly rare. I bought an HP model and was lambasted for not giving the company loyalty, semi-jokingly.

Everyone else I knew in high school had an HP calculator, but I loved my TI.

Intel had a internal project back in 93.
It was said that it was killed off by the CPU team because the die was too big.
Truth was it was killed off by the Pentium team as they wanted the funding.
