There were a bunch of radar sighting on multiple days, very large number of witness sightings on multiple days, hilarious plane chases of “phantoms” of various kinds.
There was total chaos and confusion.
To this day nobody knows what the f^%$ happened.
Looking at it from an agnostic viewpoint, it looks like mass hysteria. Including the USAF, USN and every bureaucrat involved.
