OK...

Like I said, say what you will...but...

How do you explain something that is obviously directed by some sort of intelligence and moves through our atmosphere at speeds and performing aeronautical maneuvers our own aircraft are totally incapable of, still today?

I’d love to see a logical explanation for that, without the government’s usuall inane nonsense about swamp gas or reflections of Venus or weather baloons...

I’m far from crazy, and have a high IQ, around 150, and was totally sober. Whatever this thing was, it was not built on this planet. I was stationed a mile from NAS Norfolk, I saw planes of every description literally every day. This was no plane, but it definitely flew. It had to be directed by some sort of intelligent being, and the only animal I know of that flies at night is a bat. I see those regularly, they rarely keep a straight line for 3 seconds, and do not travel hundreds of miles in under 5 seconds. And they don’t have running lights... Nothing manufactured on this planet can do that. Apollo rockets and the space shuttle take several minutes to leave our atmosphere. This thing was gone in well under 5 seconds, totally out of sight and into space.

I’ve seen articles by other scientists claiming the opposite, mathematically the odds are highly in favor of life existing elsewhere. I happen to believe that is much more likely.

Over a billion stars just in this one galaxy. Over a billion galaxies, larger and smaller, most containing over a billion stars each in the known universe.

And you think life can only develop in just this one dinky star out in the suburbs of one galaxy??? I wouldn’t be surprised to find life elsewhere in this galaxy, and I’d bet on it in numerous other galaxies.

I was already leaning toward belief of intelligent life elsewhere. What I saw left no other option. Nothing made on this planet can move like the object I saw. NOTHING...we still have nothing 40 years later that can come close. No flying animal can leave this planet. This thing did. Nothing I know of made by man can cross the entire sky in less than 5 seconds, twice. This thing did and left the planet...in less than 5 seconds.

No meteor can stop and instantly take off in another direction. No plane, no rocket, no helicopter can do what I saw.

Doubt it all you want to. I saw something that cannot be explained by modern technology, as have thousands of people for thousands of years. Cave drawings and rock sculptures of men with what can only be described as space suits...descriptions of mechanical flying craft. A gold model of a toy plane was found in South America, scaled up to 2 feet long and built, electric motor added and radio controls, it flew. Perfectly.

Picture of it here

https://anomalien.com/ancient-aircrafts-reality-or-fiction/

Scaled up to about 2 feet long, that toy flies. Several of these have been found, with varying physical details, up to 2000 years old. See one fly for yourself.

https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=7LdOioSt6vc

This is a model of a physical object people saw well over 1000 years ago, and fashioned into a kid’s toy for some reason.

Some Native American tribes have passed down their history through thousands of years, including their belief that they were descended from what they call “sky people”. They are not the only ones. Various peoples from all over the world hold similar beliefs.

Sanskrit, the oldest known form of writing, describes in detail, mechanical flying machines, called Vimanas. Archaeologists have uncovrred physical evidence of possible nuvlear weapons usage in pre cave man times. Fused green glass is difficult to produce in large scale any other way.

https://enigmose.com/ancient_aircraft_india.html

Enoch, in biblical times, also described what can only be called a flying machine.

Too much evidence is out there, I’ve read about it since 1973. Several books, numerous tv shows and documentaries, say what you want, I’ll NEVER be convinced humans are the only intelligent life in existence. I’ve seen too much evidence to the contrary.

Nice try. Except the original model has flat wings. No chord; no lift generated. The working “model” the engineers cobbled up is considerably different, in that it was given the aeronautical features that would enable it to lift off and fly. Granted, just the basic shape and configuration, in 200 BCE, is jaw-dropping. But lack of ailerons would preclude coordinated turns, etc., but it’s still quite amazing. Maybe there was a DaVinci back then, too.

1. I can’t
2. Is it...”obviously directed by some sort of intelligence”?
3. Could be you’re correct. All I’m saying is (as of now) it looks like we’re it, no one else out there, no matter how much we may want there to be. because 1+1 this equals 2.

Looking at it from an agnostic viewpoint, it looks like mass hysteria. Including the USAF, USN and every bureaucrat involved.

Sitting in the Arizona desert, 20 miles or so out of Quartzsite in 2012, I watched a couple of lights dance around in the sky. By dancing, I mean they were moving what would be hundreds and thousands of miles in fractions of a second, if they were in near-earth orbit. The rest of the stars were stationary, but these two lights were having quite the party.

Looking at the star charts later, I quickly realized it was just atmospheric distortion. The “dancing lights” were the well-established stars known as Castor and Pollux.

Funny, because my brother that was back home looking after the dogs we had of the same names, told me that “the boys” had been exceptionally frisky that same night.

It was not that long ago that we were sure that none of the stars had planets because, you know:

“1 + 1 = 2”.

We don’t know what we don’t know....

Nice going bright boy...you just showed you know how to spin pure bullshit out of thin air. Just like your pals at CNN...

I’ll use your own logic to show the flaws in your logic.

You’re an archaeologist 1000 years from now. You find The inch long race car used as a player’s token in the game “Monopoly”. You conclude that it would not possibly work as a functional mode of transportation, the wheels won’t roll and it has no steering.

You find a plastic cannon from a kid’s toy soldier set. You conclude it would not be a functional weapon, the barrel is solid, not hollow.

Sound ridiculous? Maybe. But I used your logic to get there.

So you find a silver replica of a WWII biplane used on a womans’ necklace, earring or charm bracelet. Again, you conclude it could not fly because it is not aerodynamically perfect.

Ridiculous? Perhaps, but your own logic got me there.

It’s toys and jewelry, genius, it was never intended to be aerodynamically perfect.

For you to create working models of any of the artifacts your hypothetical future self found, you would have to extrapolate a few details, like a functional steering system and wheels that actually roll, or a hollow gun barrel.,. everything else about this gold airplane replica is aerodynamically sound. Shape, size of wings, tail rudder. Just because you see no visible representation if wing flaps does not mean they were not there. The monopoly car has no engine. Does that mean it’s not a representation of a real item? The real thing didn’t have one?

Also, like a number of other ancient mysteries, almost identical artifacts were found halfway around the world from each other. Ditto for some cave drawings, architecture, pyramids...in South America, pyramids and stone work have been found so similar to that in Egypt, it’s not a huge leap to suppose they may have been taught how or done by the same people, suggesting the capability of world travel thousands of years ago.

Almost every country has native populations who preserved legends or oral history that refers to beings who flew in machines. In some cases this has been told in language they could actually understand. What would you call an airplane if you had never seen one? The closest they could get was a great fire breathing bird.

And how did they get huge stones that weigh over 100 tons from a quarry 20 miles away or more, to over 10,000 feet up a mountain in Brazil, to build Tiahuanaco? We don’t have machinery today that will do it.

According to traditional archaeology, the pyramids at Giza were built rolling those huge stones around using logs, ropes and slave labor. I understand the slave labor part, they did use a lot of it in those days, but look at a few pictures of the place, it’s a desert...has been for thousands of years...where did they get trees to make logs?

I’ve been reading about this stuff for 40 years, too much can only be explained by outside intelligence giving prehistoric man a helping hand. In Sanskrit, the earliest form of writing, specific and detailed descriptions are given of mechanical flying machines, crew quarters, engines...and pictures of them were drawn as well. Do a little looking around, it’s not hard to find.

The biggest problem is you end up with more questions than answers...but I will never EVER believe we are the only intelligent life in this universe. Too much solid evidence exists that points to the existence of intelligent life other than the humans we grew up with.

Things like that can happen, and can usually be explained once you do a little research.

What I saw was something similar to airplane running lights but not red or green, and not as bright as the headlights they use, moving at incredible speed across the sky, but not hard to track. One continuous path, hundreds of miles, in a second. It stopped, reversed direction, still at a mild upward angle, back across the sky, stopped again and shot out of sight at probably 60 or 70 degrees upward. All not hard to follow, but it only took 4 seconds max.

I’ve watched conventional aircraft cross the sky at night many times, usually it’s blinking lights, and it takes several minutes. This thing was gone in seconds. Nothing man has ever made can move like that.

It was not two stars blinking and playing tricks on my eyesight. This object moved in a straight line, very fast, stopped very briefly and changed direction. But it could be followed by eye.

I did get faked out one night though...someone lit off some chinese paper lanterns. Put a small candle on a paper tray, fashion a small paper umbrella, attach it with strings and it will act like a hot air baloon. I saw 3 or 4 floating off beside the road one night, took some pictures and sent them off...felt like an idiot when I found out it was just paper lanterns...

What cannot be explained is sightings by hundreds of people at once, including video, and sightings by trained observers like cops, and by airline pilots...a few have also been picked up by radar.

Is There Life Out There? Another Step Toward Its Improbability

Dr. Michael G Strauss
(Snip)
Although the Drake equation may be a reasonable starting point for the discussion about the probability for finding extraterrestrial life, it has been widely criticized for neglecting some very important factors. In addition, many of the factors used have such a broad range of possibilities that any attempt to quantify the number of civilizations that satisfy the Drake criteria give estimates from as little as 10-11 to as high as 107 such civilizations in our galaxy.2 In 2000, Peter D. Ward and Donald Brownlee published the book Rare Earth, which addressed some of the deficiencies of the Drake equation by proposing additional terms that should be included, but they did not make an effort to calculate an accurate number using their additions.3

When I give talks on complex life in the universe I will often quote a quantitative estimate of the probability of finding such life made by the astrophysicist Hugh Ross. In 2004, Ross compiled a list of 322 parameters that are necessary for a truly “earth-like” planet to exist,4 and in 2009, he released another list of 676 parameters that are necessary to sustain uni-cellular life for 3 billion years on a planet.5 These estimates are what scientists often call “back of the envelope” or “order of magnitude” calculations. They are not meant to be exact but to give a best approximation based on known quantities. In his calculation, Ross includes correlations and the expected number of planets in the visible universe. He determines that the probability for finding any planet in the visible universe that meets the requirements to be 1 in 10282 for the first case and 1 in 10556 in the latter case. With such low probabilities it is basically impossible that any other complex life exists in the visible universe. (It should be noted that as a theist I believe that since God created at least one planet with life he could have created many planets with life despite the odds. A discovery of another planet with life may actually increase the evidence for a creator if these low odds continue to hold up to more scrutiny.)

I wouldn’t say No intelligent life...on the campus of Yale,it could be said to be pretty rare.
