Some people who voted for Trump in 2016 only because he wasn’t Hillary now have come to see him as our Charles Martel, the unlikely last defender of Western civilization.

I’m one of those people. I was temp banned here twice during the election. Once during the primary and once during the general. Both for pointing out Trump’s serious flaws.

My biggest complaint was that I saw him as a chameleon. But it turned out he’s the same color as me in that regard. I’ve only voted “for” - as opposed to against - a canididate once in my life. That was 1980. I will be voting “for” a candidate for the second time in my life in November, Lord willing and he’s not assassinated.

The reality is that we’re repeatedly given only two choices for president and it is, therefore, very important to select the better of the two. This time, if you care about our country, the best choice is clearly Donald Trump.
