Mark H. Hampe, age 58, of Austin, and formerly of Glen Ellyn, Illinois, passed away Sunday, August 14, 2005. He graduated in 1966 from Glenbard West and attended Mackinac College, receiving his Bachelor's Degree from Williams College. He later received his Master's Degree from Our Lady of the Lakes University in San Antonio, majoring in Psychology. He was a Social Psychologist, specializing in child development. Mark enjoyed cooking, reading, and playing cards. He was an avid football fan and a car enthusiast. He was preceded in death by his father, Edward Hampe and his brother, Dean Hampe. He is survived by his son, Blake David Hampe; mother, Dolores Hampe; sister, Beth Rogers and husband, David; brother, Grant Hampe and wife, Karen; sister-in-law, Sharon Hampe; and many nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Thursday, August 18, 2005, at Cook-Walden Funeral Home. Private funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 20, 2005, in Glen Ellyn, Illinois.
