One upshot of Biden’s plan to “change zoning laws” is as Obama was trying to do, prevent homeowners from selling their home to anyone other than Black buyers when there was an “over-representation” of white owners in the area. In other words, forced integration on the backs of the captive homeowners whose potential buyer pool was thus restricted to Black buyers. Pernicious just doesn’t quite cover it.
Obama used the courts. If a local Zoning Board ruled against the low income housing, they paid attorneys to work to overturn the decision in a higher court.
