Rush has mentioned several times about just turning off the news. Don’t read the newspapers and magazines.
I get all my news online. Unfortunately, I do check MSN.com and Drudge occasionally to see what lies are being promoted.
I recently have to come to the conclusion that I am no seer—politically or otherwise.
I really, truly thought all this coronavirus crap would be gone by May. While I recognize that a lot more testing has seen total numbers creep up; I am also aware that there has been an increase in my state. Alabama daily deaths have risen a lot the past two weeks. We are at higher numbers than we ever had in March-May. I have several medical conditions so I remain isolated as much as possible and I do wear a mask when I go inside Walmart or CVS or Tractor Supply (the only 3 places I go to since this all started).
So I am happy with this—it is my ideal lifestyle to be at home enjoying myself on my own land.
Whatever will be will be.
I do hope Trump wins big and the democrats are swept from power. Will this happen? Who can say?
The planned-demic has freaked out a lot of people.Many will be glad when its over(NOv. 4).Til then we perservere and make sure our side wins as many openings in govt. as possible.
What's your best guess as to why ? Could it be media distortion to scare citizens into mask wearing ? Media is mostly liberal even in sweet home Alabama, I reckon.
Or health officials, or hospitals mis-classifying cause of death for financial reimbursement reasons. Most hospitals are suffering financially from the lockdown.
The virus spreads--often unnoticed--, so cases increase, which testing verifies. All of this is a given, and irrelevant.
You are succumbing to the prevailing propaganda - No one is generating any comparison numbers to the Flu.
I saw some stats for Texas recently comparing - 2018/2019 - Flu death to Covid - "AmericanThiner"? maybe two/three weeks back. The numbers are the same/similar
The issue with propaganda is IT WORKS and scares the shit out of virtually everyone. Until it no longer works - Will California succeed in recalling their Governor now that Moonbeam is no longer there? What will Seattle do? How about Portlandia - can we cast them into the sea?
