I am one of those who has actually seen a UFO from relatively close up. The object was about half a mile from me when I saw it. Oh course, my friends and co-workers laughed at me when I told them about it. They were sure I’d seen a secret Air Force plane. Uh, no unless they are flying round, green glowing planes 50 to 100 feet across that zig zag across, and up and down, the sky impossibly fast. Hard to believe until you have actually seen a flying object that defies the laws of physics.

Friend’s father was a WW2 bomber pilot, saw the “foo fighters” all the time. Later as a Canadian airline pilot they were sort of told to stop reporting them because of all the hassle.

My UFO Sighting:

The shadow was about 200yrds across, was deeply dark and with a sharply defined edge, indicating it was close to the ground. If it had blurry edges and not as dark as it was, maybe something much higher. We never could see it and we interacted with it (flying an intercept course and it stopped/started instantaneously), that was spectacular.

The Brigades intel guy, Paul Smith, interviewed me and the other pilot. He just came from the classified Star Gate program, and was assessing if we were nut-balls, if we would be the type to believe everything or be hard-core skeptics and deny anything we saw. In me he figured out I was neither. I simple saw something, couldn’t figure it out and left it as it was; something we saw and left it at that.

I was a good candidate for the Star Gate program, apparently. I was offered a choice, go back to flying fighters or go the the Star Gate program and learn to “use the force Luke.” I went back to flying fighters.

Who knows what it was? Not me and I won’t guess because I simply don’t know or have any clue.

  I once spoke to a real estate agent who was out late at night and he told me about the time he saw something flying incredibly fast and making right-angle turns.

Dittos. It was about twenty years ago. I was driving home about 11:00 PM, through the country. Something flew over me and matched my speed for about ten miles. I was going about 60 mph. It was completely silent, and maybe 70 feet off the ground. When I got home, I stopped in my driveway. It hovered over me. I got out of my truck, and watched it for about ten minutes. It moved like a helicopter, but was completely silent. Flashing lights.

I lived close to a military base, so wondered if it was some kind of secret weapon, and they were practicing tracking people. Off world? I dunno. Unidentified Flying Object? Definitely.

Odd that with the millions of Youtube videos out there of everything, there is not one of a defining close up of a UFO.
