When you let your political obsessions dominate you, what you end up with is a rather negative review of a fine documentary that isn't really about politics. Such was the case with Wednesday's Vox review by Alissa Wilkinson of the Netflix documentary Fear City: New York vs. the Mafia.
So what bothered Wilkinson about the documentary? Well, because it prominently featured Rudy Giuliani, because he was instrumental in bringing down the mob in New York. The problem for her was that many years later, Giuliani ended up as President Donald Trump's lawyer as well as friend. Oh, and the fact that Trump wasn't portrayed as some sort of mobster in the documentary also disturbed Wilkinson as well as you can see in "How Netflixs new mafia documentary failed."

So, Vox is upset.
Is that worth one or two micro-givash*ts?
Democrats are relentlessly evil.
Partisan Media Shills update.
Just watched the trailer. Awesome! I will be seeing this flick.
I watched it a couple days ago. Seems the mob took Trump for many millions. Not that Trump knowingly worked with them; just that they had a ‘cement club’ that rigged all the bids for concrete on any project worth more than $2 million in concrete in New York; e.g. the Trump Tower (and many others unrelated to Trump). “The Club” rigged the bids so that the deserving club member booked something like 10%-15% more than fair market would dictate, with 2 points of the entire deal going to the mob.
Bingo!
