The president, in a Thursday night interview with Fox News's Sean Hannity, claimed that if he had the support of local leaders, he could deploy anywhere from 50,000-75,000 federal officers to deter crime.
We want to go in and help the cities, we want help Chicago, we want to help all of them, Trump said. Detroit is having problems. A very good police chief in Detroit, but they have problems. Well go into all the cities, any of the cities. We're ready. Well put in 50,000, 60,000 people that really know what they are doing. And they are strong, they're tough, and we can solve these problems so fast. But as you know, we have to be invited in.
..... Its a shame. We could solve it. If they invited us in, we would go in with 50,000, 75,000 people. We would be able to solve it like you wouldnt believe and quick. But they just dont want to ask, maybe for political reasons, but they dont want to ask. Its a disgrace.
As violence in other cities has continued to spike, the president has announced his plan to deploy agents from the FBI, U.S. Marshals Service, and other agencies to partner with local agencies in other cities such as Chicago and Kansas City.

Maybe I just don't have your imagination. Enlighten me, please.
Kansas City, Missouri ... The FBI went in very strong into and within two weeks had 200 arrests.
You can read both Trumps and Barrs approach here....
The only problem with that is that nobody in the Kansas City mayors office or the Kansas City Police Department has any evidence of them arresting anyone, much less 200 people. Unless they're throwing them into vans and sneaking them out of town somewhere.
This is an election year stunt, nothing more or less.
Turns out Barr was off by 199 arrests.
Prove it.
All the Marines Tankers are bored after having their toys taken away. Im sure they would love to be allowed to protest the protesters.
Have no clue what you’re talking about.
Didn't read the article, huh? Local officials can find no evidence of 200 arrests in the last two weeks and the DOJ admits that the number actually should be for the last 9 months.
Don't believe them? Show where they are wrong.
I don’t imagine the FBI etc reports to anywhere/one they don’t want to.
So they're not working with local law enforcement at all? Just doing it behind the KCPD's back? That doesn't make sense.
