DOJ Inspector General Investigating Federal Agents' Actions In Portland And D.C.
npr.org ^ | July 23, 2020 | Bill Chappell

Posted on 07/24/2020 3:07:34 AM PDT by truthkeeper

The Justice Department's Office of the Inspector General has opened an investigation into allegations that DOJ personnel have improperly used force this month in Portland, Ore., as well as an inquiry into their role in responding to mass protests in Washington, D.C., since late May.

Inspector General Michael Horowitz announced the inquiry the day after federal agents tear-gassed Portland Mayor Ted Wheeler during a protest Wednesday night outside a federal courthouse.

At a broader level, the inspector general will review the way DOJ personnel have been used to respond to protests and civil unrest in both Portland and Washington over the past two months. The review will include agents' use of force as well as tear gas and "less-lethal munitions" — a category that often includes items such as bean bag rounds and rubber bullets.

Portland and Washington are among several large cities where federal agents' presence and aggressive tactics have stoked controversy. The mayors of at least five cities, including Portland and Washington, sent a letter to President Trump this week asking him to withdraw the agents, saying they were inflaming tensions.

The agents' deployment by the Trump administration has prompted criticism from local and state leaders, who say the move is motivated more by political goals than by a desire to preserve law and order. So far, all of the cities where agents have been deployed are led by Democrats.

The separate inquiries are in response to requests from Congress, members of the public, and a referral by U.S. Attorney Billy Williams, who heads the District of Oregon office...

As I said..."you only focus on one or two."

Reading is fundamental.

Oh please.

You just don't want to admit the contradictions.

So tell me, which one is it?

This one?

Or this one from 5 days ago?

Or this one?

Either Q was lying, or he was wrong.

So which is it?

Don't play games - just answer the question.

Yep, a rehash of your previous complaint.

Either Q was lying, or he was wrong.
So which is it?

I'm not limited to your two options. I can think of many reasons as to why that was posted.
It's a shame you're so short sighted and have such a narrow view of things.

Don't play games - just answer the question.

No games here. I just see more options than your either/or scenario.
I guess I can count past two whereas you can't.

Show me, don't tell me.

I keep seeing you say that yet I've never seen you post anything but your opinion, never the originating post.

SHOW ME THE POST!

Others can do it so you can too! Are are you inept at that as well?

“Trust Sessions.”
“Trust Wray.”
“The midterms are safe.”

Qball is a fraud.

Period.

Qball is a fraud.

Thanks for sharing your opinion, but I've seen your opinion stated before.

An aside - there must not be a post stating what you claim has been said
else you would post it loudly and proudly to support your assertion.
Duly noted.

I'm not limited to your two options.

Of course it is. One Q devotee told me Q was "duped." That's a disingenuous was of saying he was WRONG. The reason you won't admit there are only two choices here is because it is so destruction to your hopes and dreams regarding Q and his promises. With playing the Oracle who says, "We have it all!" and "Nothing can stop what is coming. Nothing." - it's sort of deflate the balloon to admit that the Attorney General he told us to "Trust" (Sessions), the DOJ Inspector General hold told us to "Trust" (Horowitz), the DOJ US Attorney the AG put on the case he told us to "Trust" (Huber), and the Director of the FBI he told us to "Trust" - were ALL not only untrustworthy, some of them were and are actively working for the same forces that attempted a coup against the President.

The lynchpin of the Q movement is that the traitors and criminals in our government and elsewhere would be held accountable and brought to justice. If Q cannot even get his intel correct on the Attorney General, US Attorney assigned to the case, and the Director of the FBI - then his credibility is forever tainted.

How hard is this to grasp?

While you're at it - explain to me Q's promise that the 2018 midterms were "safe" and that election fraud in California would have been exposed 2 years ago?

Or is that another topic that you wish to wave your hand and shake your head?

I was in the Q camp from the beginning in 2017, but by late 2018, I started to question things. I noticed that the FR folks on the Q threads had a groupthink mindset - any questioning of the "movement" at all was cause to accuse those of asking questions of being labeled as blasphemers, Communists, Anti-Trumpers, or take your pick.

But all the "BOOM"s in the world from Q can't restore his credibility on the topics I mentioned, and he has never explained himself.

For someone who doesn't follow Q you sure are current on the issue. 5 days ago?

One Q devotee told me Q was "duped."
So what?! One person shared their opinion with you. BIG DEAL!

The reason you won't admit there are only two choices here is because it is so destruction (sic) to your hopes and dreams regarding Q and his promises.
Thanks for sharing your opinion. It isn't accurate in regards to me because
my hopes and dreams don't center around Q.

...explain to me...

I don't have to explain anything to you. You're not the boss of me!

I was in the Q camp from the beginning in 2017, but by late 2018, I started to question things.
5 days ago. Yep, you're still in. You just seem to like playing Devil's Advocate.

But all the "BOOM"s in the world from Q can't restore his credibility on the topics I mentioned, and he has never explained himself.

Maybe he/they expect you to think logically and figure things out for yourself and not be led around by the nose as many are wont to allow.
Just a thought. It looks like you've failed on the think logically part.

Disinformation is real.
Disinformation is necessary. (128)

But you knew that since you were in at the start, as you say.
Your answers are right in your face and you can't see it. LOL

Are we still trusting Wray?

Who is "we"?
Are you asking if I, personally, trust or have ever trusted, Wray?

If so, I've never trusted Wray.
Whether or not others have or do I can't say.
You would have to ask others to get the answer from each.
I don't speak for any "we", I only speak for ME.

One person shared their opinion with you. BIG DEAL!

Same with yours. BIG DEAL! You can't even answer the basic questions.

Thanks for sharing your opinion. It isn't accurate in regards to me because my hopes and dreams don't center around Q.

So why do you care so much about Q? You sure are defending him pretty vehemently here. I didn't post to you. For someone who protests otherwise, your actions don't match.

5 days ago. Yep, you're still in.

Oh, so now I am not permitted to read the stuff he posts? Who made you king and emperor? Are so upset about me using his posts because the evidence I posted is so indisputable?

I don't have to explain anything to you. You're not the boss of me!

Lol. You forgot to stamp your feet and tell the teacher.

Maybe he/they expect you to think logically and figure things out for yourself and not be led around by the nose as many are wont to allow. Just a thought. It looks like you've failed on the think logically part.

OK, let's try this again. He tells the world to Trust Sessions, Wray, and Huber. All three turn out to be turncoats and/or Deep State dupes. Even Trump has attacked all three.

So, logically, there is something wrong with Q's logic.

There! I thought for myself. Perhaps you should do the same.

Disinformation is real. Distractions are necessary. (72)

So lying is OK. Which are the lies, and which ones are the truth?

Oh, Q and you can justify anything if it's played up with a cloak and dagger spy game, but the Bible is clear about lying. Once you lie - your credibility is shot.

Your answers are right in your face and you can't see it. LOL

Yup - you finally answered it.

Q is a liar.

You can't even answer the basic questions.

Wrong! I won't answer questions in the either/or manner in which you desire in your effort to make your point.
Real life doesn't work that way, buddy.

So why do you care so much about Q? You sure are defending him pretty vehemently here.
All I'm doing is pointing out your narrow viewpoint and your persistence in pushing a particular point or two in which you have a contention. (one hit wonders played over and over again to no end are trite and boring)
Anyone thinking outside of your POV is wrong in your opinion.
ALL others must conform to your POV or be brought low.
Real life doesn't work that way, buddy.

Oh, so now I am not permitted to read the stuff he posts?
You can "read the stuff" all you want. Where have I ever said you couldn't? I'm just noting your inconsistency.

Q is a liar.
Why do you continue to read stuff from someone you say is a liar?
Isn't that called an obsession? It certainly isn't called an interest.

Wife - Honey, does this dress make my butt look big?
Husband - No, dear, your butt makes your butt look big.

Or should the husband have lied and deceived her at the same time?

Logic and truth works that way buddy.

Fancy way of saying you don't want to answer, but you already did in your last post. Q posts "Disinformation" - which are lies. So again, I ask you - which ones are the lies, and which ones the truth?

I'm just noting your inconsistency.

Inconsistency? How? So let me try to understand your twisted approach here - I was allowed to read the Q posts if I agreed with you, but if I am skeptical, I am no longer allowed? Well, sorry to break this news to you - but that is insane.

Why do you continue to read stuff from someone you say is a liar? Isn't that called an obsession? It certainly isn't called an interest.

Wrong on every count. It's pointing out falsehoods, inconsistency, and betrayal - which is one of the prime uses of this platform. It it's too upsetting for you, you should do something else.

To recap: Q was wrong on Wray, Sessions, Huber, the 2018 Midterms, and exposing Election Fraud.

There's your "BOOM!"

Q posts "Disinformation" - which are lies.
That is your opinion. Where you see lies (disinformation) I see distraction.
A comparison to an undercover policeman might suffice.
He uses disinformation to make the crook feel comfortable with him.
He will continue using it until the arrest is made.
Is the cop wrong for doing what he did?

It's pointing out falsehoods, inconsistency, and betrayal...
To recap: Q was wrong on Wray, Sessions, Huber, the 2018 Midterms, and exposing Election Fraud.

Those are all your OPINIONS on events, nothing more!
Yet you want to FORCE your OPINIONS on others and you'll flay anyone
who doesn't agree with your OPINIONS!

There's your "BOOM!"

Once you lie - your credibility is shot.

By your thinking every policeman who has ever gone undercover and lied about who he actually was has no credibility.

Got it!

Q is an undercover policeman now?

Well, he better get busy. He promised arrests two years ago.

Where are those? Are they in the "Trust Sessions, Wray, and Huber, election fraud in CA going to be exposed in 2018" categories too?

And what about spies?
They live and die on disinformation (distraction).

Should they admit who and what they are out front?
What should they do if captured?

Numbers 13
1 And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying,
2 “Send men to spy out the land of Canaan, which I am giving to the children of Israel; from each tribe of their fathers you shall send a man, every one a leader among them.”
3 So Moses sent them from the Wilderness of Paran according to the command of the Lord, all of them men who were heads of the children of Israel.

Upon close examination your Biblical argument falls apart.

Q is an undercover policeman now?

Now you're being obtuse. Or don't you recognize an analogy when you see one?

He promised arrests two years ago.
Where you see "promises" all I see are rhetorical questions being asked.
See how OPINIONS work? Where in your OPINION you see promises being made I, and possibly others, may see something else entirely (like simple rhetorical questions).
But you, you want to FORCE people into believing promises were made based solely on your OPINION when there was no ACTUAL promise in your example.

Not too bright on your part there.
