A young child is far more fragile than an adult man.
How long did Isaiah Jackson do it? Eight minutes (including a couple of minutes after the child's heart stopped beating) or just long enough to take a picture? Did he put his full weight on the child's neck or did his knee on the ground hold almost all of his weight?
Jackson is an idiot for posing for this picture, but one posed picture is not the equivalent of minutes of video.
That he did it for one second to a crying child does not excuse what he did.
An adult can understand what's going on especially if he has a criminal history and has interacted with the police. An innocent child can have no understanding of what's going on and will be traumatized for life.
There is no moral equivalency here.
This is reprehensible and inexcusable by any standard of human decency.
Immaterial. Floyd was arguably already dying. Even while prone he was able to breath and proclaim that he felt like he couldnt breath (something you cant do if you cant breath).
The cop didnt cause his death no matter how long he kept Floyd pinned. Floyd caused his death the moment he apparently shoved inadequately sealed drugs up his wazoo.
How long did Isaiah Jackson do it?
A fraction of a second is an eternity too long.
You’re a fool for even suggesting that this atrocity is in any way defensible.
