I think this whole situation is fraught with danger. Based on the actions of feds like Comey and Sessions, and comments made by and actions taken by top generals and DOD leaders, there’s a real possibility that the feds would refuse to back Trump in a confrontation with local law enforcement. The left wants chaos and the image of Trump facing an open revolt, not just a silent coup, within his own law enforcement bureaucracy would be the realization of the left’s wettest dreams.
The mutiny of troops in St. Petersburg signaled the collapse of military support for the Czar that doomed his regime. Just a few defections of woke federal agents who are down with the struggle might destroy Trump’s presidency.
