There has been no recorded case of a teacher catching the coronavirus from a pupil anywhere in the world, according to one of the governments leading scientific advisers.
Mark Woolhouse, a leading epidemiologist and member of the governments Sage committee, told The Times that it may have been a mistake to close schools in March given the limited role children play in spreading the virus.
Schools in England are preparing to reopen in full from September. Some primary year groups were invited back for lessons before the summer holidays but most pupils have had no face-to-face teaching for four months.

How do you know it was caught in schools and not in the subway system or bus systems?.
Can there be any better evidence that the teacher's unions don't give a damn about the children? How about the parents? What are you gonna choose between home schooling your kids or working to be able to pay the rent and buy the food. Well, thank a teacher!

I am not spamming, you moron. I was in very close contact with NYC teaching colleagues and heard all about this mysterious virus, the lack of disinfection, how teachers were getting sick, their own kids were then getting sick, and DumblASSio still refused to close the schools. I also lost a colleague to COVID.

The article talks about public teachers who work in schools getting sick.
There is even a quote from the NYC government saying they are not getting sick at a rate greater than the general population.
Not one case is documented of a teacher catching the Coronavirus from a student, in the article.
Anywhere in the WHOLE WORLD?

Zalfreund said she had been told by qualified sources that she had been infected at the municipal kindergarten, but it was unclear how this could be confirmed.
It was apparently not confirmed to the satisfaction of this scientist.
Doesn’t say it came from a student either
