MSNBC Heilemann: Trump’s Unmarked Paramilitary Units are Trial Run for ‘Trying to Steal This Election’

Tuesday on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe,” network national affairs analyst John Heilemann said President Donald Trump would use unidentified federal agents like the ones he sent to Portland to use force “to try to steal this election.”

Heilemann said, “This is not just performative authoritarianism. This is authoritarianism. These are paramilitary units. These are the things we have seen in authoritarian regimes in third world countries throughout the second half of the 20th century. This is not a mystery what’s going on here. I think to look at this through the prism of symbolic politics, the law and order campaign, Trump trying to rerun the Nixon playbook is true but doesn’t go far enough we’re looking here—this is a dark —I don’t want to be overly alarmist about this, but this is the time to be alarmist knowing where Donald Trump stands politically, understanding where we are headed in this election.”

We are truly in a revolution if statements like this are being made. What Trump has done with federal forces to just STOP assaults on federal buildings shows that the planned intent, which Heileman knows (he's a traitor too), is to overrun a federal facility and then spread it nationwide to overthrow the government.

They are enraged that their plan has been stalled for the time being. This is a real revolution taking place and a lot of people knew about...seems like almost everyone high up except the FBI. Or, maybe enough of them knew of it and are supporting it for it to happen?

It is very important to understand the mindset of those who oppose you and your way of life. John Heilemann is a Manhattan liberal, and his wife is Diana Rhoten - a social ‘scientist’ who works at Cornell. I wish her the very best, as she had a battle with cancer (hopefully is now disease free). They seem like nice, but entirely deluded but self-convinced people. These types of people see the world entirely from the perspective of ‘academics’, urban living, and the lens of NYC/Manhattan pseudo-superiority. Even if well meaning, they're truly poorly informed - but have too much hubris to even consider this possibility.

People like Heilemann tend to have a ridiculous faith in academics and the ‘urban’ world view. This is a mistake, and ensures that they see the world in a very finite and restricted way - all the while thinking that having a pedigree from an overrated East Coast university (or the U of Chicago and a smattering of places on the West Coast) makes them seers. That type of ridiculous group think would be amusing, if it weren't so dangerous and destructive.
