The upcoming US civil war will probably be a mixture of the Greek Civil War, bloody Kansas, the Irish Republican actions and Al-Quada tactics.
Hopefully a civil war can be avoided by placing revenue and spending caps in our federal constitution.
I agree with your assessment. In particular I think the “troubles” of Ireland and Northern Ireland are in our future.
It can only be avoided by outlawing communism. In the fifties, many people were duped into believing that the “red scare” was a silly fear where gullible people saw commies behind every tree. The communists themselves ran a surreptitious campaign to ridicule those who believed communism was a threat to our way of life.
Here we are nearly 70 years later and the same Reds are threatening us with extinction. What is different is they learned in the 60s that violent revolution was not going to happen so they undertook to take over the institutions. That’s why Ayers and Dohrn went into education.
Now we have two generations of useful idiots that think socialism and communism are preferable to liberty and freedom.
