Look, I hate to say it, but the mob in Portland is growing in strength and determination, and their play is being backed by some fairly mainstream characters - including, by their silence, most of the GOP Senators, and in the case of the silly libertarian from Kentucky, his active support.
I was part of a mostly LARPy andi-Vietnam war mob from 1967-1970 - May 4, 1970, to be precise.
There is only one way this ends. Our little fantasy rebellion ended on May 4, 1970, never to revive, and at the cost of only four lives.
This is a Bolshevik insurrection, and the only way out is to issue, eventually, a “surrender or die” order - and to mean it. They will not surrender, because they do not believe door #2 is a possibility.
