Who came up with this idiotic idea? Jared or Ivanka? Neither. It is Reality. He is badly lagging in the polls, and all these actions (interviews with Wallace, CBS, mask) are an acknowledgement of that and an attempt to turn things around.

Yes, he is taking us for granted. I like most of what he does, but certainly not this absolute garbage.
Mindless submission is NOT patriotic.
I always find it silly when folks describe Trump as somehow not being a politician. Nonsense. He is a born politician, this is just his first elected role. Populists are by definition highly political. Love him or hate him, Trump is clearly a populist.
This was a lead-able / teach-able moment. Instead, driven by polls, The Donald knelt.
