So any clue as to motivation here?

Would start with
a) somebody with a big ego that lost a lot of money used an amateur assassin; or,
b) someone who is at risk of loosing a lot of money sent the judge a "message" demonstrating how easy is was to cause the pain they threatened, in which case it wasn't the first time they had communicated with the judge; or,
c) somebody got the wrong street address in this target-rich neighborhood, or was just making their bones.

A federal judge?...what do the security cameras show?
(If you are an "important" person, teach your older children to open the door only if the knocker is smiling for the camera, even if it is Halloween.)

Even though she was just assigned to the lawsuit case for Deutsche Bank and money laundering activities involving Epstein, the judge would start making decisions on discovery for the plaintiff. That would involve all of the high powered people involved with Epstein and Maxwell. I’ll keep following this case.

Strongly suspect it was her husbund, not the judge that was the target. The son had the bad luck to answer the door. Investigate the husbund’s finances, business dealings and associates if you are really interested in why this happened. Nice stort but it had nothing to do with Epstein or Deutsche Bank.

This was a message to all the judges who take on anything to do with Epstein, and I suspect the same will happen to any judge who winds up presiding over deep state criminals as well.

I don’t know if judges have the right to refuse cases, but if they do, you’ll know when they finally find judges who will preside over the cases, that the fix is in.

I agree. If the judge had been targeted, a pro killer would have easily found her in the basement.

I speculate that the judge hired the hit on her husband. That makes more sense than a German bank going after her for something that’s already been exposed in several court cases. And she was conveniently in the basement, so her husband would answer the door.

Remember, Epstein did not kill himself.

I think they were after the husband. Need to check his recent cases.

We're short on facts here but, of course, you may be correct.

If the shooter was visually aware he had wounded the husband, all but an amateur would have made sure the project was finished. Indeed, the husband may have survived several wounds in a Hollywood-like scenario.

This would further suggest the son was the actual target of an out-of-control father of a knocked-up princess.

We need more facts over here!

“What’s the over/under on finding a dead FedEx driver?”

The Clintons will make sure there are no loose ends.

God, I am so sick of the corruption. Not only is this judge grieving, she’s got to be afraid for her life.

“So any clue as to motivation here?”

The judge is involved in a Jeffrey Epstein case; I can’t remember what’s in front of her. Epstein “killed himself” a while back (no video in prison to corroborate that; he was left alone with no prison guards, apparently).

Bill Clinton and a LOT of powerful people visited “pedo(phile) island,” a place with young girls, many recruited by that woman who has now been arrested; Ghislaine Maxwell (??? CANNOT remember her name now). Epstein knew the powerful men, she got the girls; it was basically a pimp/madame prostitute situation.

Neither the Clintons nor any of the other powerful men (and probably women?) want any connections coming out in the open.

So this judge has basically been intimidated. A crime in and of itself, I believe.

Those sites certainly do point the way, maps and all, as you say. And with Google Earth, nefarious types can even get images of the house where you live.

20 year old son could be the intended target

“Maybe she ordered the hit”

That occurred to me as I was typing that ‘she must be afraid for her life.’

But I don’t think it’s money or marriage trouble, though it could be. Given everything dirty surrounding this mess of a case, I wonder if she’s in on it and the Clintons can expect nothing but favorable rulings from her.

“For the younger readers - Woody’s dad was a professional killer.”

WHAT?! Wow. Didn’t know that. No wonder Woody smokes pot and no wonder he was able to break into acting. Kind of reminds me of that scene in the Godfather, where the singer wants a film role; the director or producer found the severed head of his favorite horse in his bed. The guy got the role.

“(If you are an “important” person, teach your older children to open the door only if the knocker is smiling for the camera, even if it is Halloween.)”

If I were an “important” person, especially if involved in this case, I’d teach my children to never open the door at all. Instead, hide. Or at least get away from the windows.

And I’m sorry to say, people should hesitate before they open the door to a, let’s say, a black woman holding a baby, looking destitute and hungry. She’ll open the door and say her car broke down and she needs to get food for her baby. Can you give me a lift?

You exit your house and are shocked to find three black men, all wearing bandanas, with guns in their hands. They kill you, go into your house and kill all the people in there, then steal everything of value they can carry.

Okay, sorry everyone; I am writing a book on this seemingly apocalyptic time and my thoughts can get pretty dark.
